Left home at about 8 last night and drove all night to get to the range in time to practice a little today, and then I'll hit it hard in the morning.
The range has made several improvements toward pistol shooting since we were here for the 2007 Steel Nationals. Derek and Mike have the stages looking good, and the stop plates look like they have undergone a redesign after the problems last year.
I shot pretty well this afternoon, after getting loose from the long car ride. I feel good about the match, so we'll have to see what the week holds.
